Baroque Ebony Table Cabinet Extensively Inlaid With Ivory
The exterior inlaid in a geometric pattern & standing on ivory ball feet. The interior of the lid centering a Hapsburg crest bordered by 9 panels engraved with the personifications of Justice,Faith, Fortitude, Charity, Temperance, Prudence & Hope. The base with a geometrically inlaid drawer with an engraved locking slide. Possibly associated with Ferdinand Charles, the Austrian Archduke in 1662. He was married to Anna de Medici, daughter of Cosimo II de Medici.
